Compassionate

I use a deeply relaxing style of Swedish massage, along with elements of Shiatsu and energy work to gently facilitate an experience of whole body healing for each one of my clients.

About

Annie Halton Marshall, LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) is a lifelong resident of Ithaca, NY who has been nurturing individuals and families in this community for over 40 years. She is now furthering this passion for healing through massage therapy.

I’m a 2015 graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage. I typically uses a deeply relaxing style of Swedish massage, along with elements of Shiatsu and Energy work to gently facilitate an experience of whole-body healing for each one of my clients. I also have further training in prenatal massage and pediatric massage. I believe that every individual comes to the massage table with a unique way of experiencing their body and the world and work to compassionately adjust my sessions according to the physical and emotional needs of each client. I gladly welcomes individuals of every age and gender.

I previously owned and operated TLC Child Care Center for 15 years, a loving and nurturing nursery school program. I bring many years of experience as a care provider to the work of massage. I feel that my career as a massage therapist is informed in many positive ways by my lifelong commitment to children and families.

I expanded my commitment to pediatric and prenatal well-being by becoming a DONA certified birth and postpartum Doula in 2004. I often incorporate massage techniques to ease common discomforts of pregnancy and childbirth.
